Music Lessons

Philosophy
We learn what you want to learn while creating a solid basis and understanding of music appreciation and theory.
I have found that connecting the pieces of music whether that be improvisation, strumming, or songwriting to a pre-existing set of music that the student has a connection to yields the best results.
Lessons should feel as much like a lesson as they do a conversation. When students are relaxed and the discourse is flowing in both directions they are more likely to ask questions and truly get what they're looking for out of a lesson.

Lessons may contain any or all of the following:
ear training/and/or note reading
techniques, scales, theory or all three
a song that contextualizes the aforementioned pieces
a tune you are passionate about learning
